13th August 2021

As you may be aware Belfast One has recently embarked on its second term as the Business Improvement District for the City Centre, following a successful reballot in March 2021.

By securing the BID’s next term, businesses have given Belfast One a mandate to deliver its five year business plan on their behalf, which sets out a plan for the City Centre to deliver a safe, clean and active space where businesses can flourish through driving footfall, increasing sustainability and offering cost saving initiatives while enhancing the attractiveness of the area. Belfast One is nonetheless strongly aware of the external challenges in attracting people back as society re-emerges from Covid-19, how change has impacted upon the city and how much it will continue to be impacted in the near and medium term future.

Conscious of these external changes and reflecting on the organisation’s position at the start of a new term, Management Consultant Baker Tilly were recently appointed to conduct a Strategic Review of the organisation. This review will provide the organisation with both an internal and external perspective of its position and performance and help to shape and define the way forward towards 2026.

Confidential Survey

As part of the review, Baker Tilly is therefore asking businesses to participate in a confidential survey, which consists of 18 questions and will take no longer than 10 minutes to complete. Closing date for the survey is Friday 20th August.

4 workshops will also take place on Zoom on the following dates:

  • Wednesday 18th August: 8am – 9am
