Food Standards Agency Guidance
Guidance has been released today by the Food Standards Agency (FSA) in relation to food businesses operating during the COVID 19 pandemic.
This guidance offers practical information and advice to understand how to work safely in the food sector with a focus on restaurants and takeaways.
The guidance addresses social distancing, cleaning and staff training with a focus on the hygiene process giving businesses a practical framework to allow them to continue, adapt or restart operations.

The new guidance should be read in conjunction with sector guidance for social distancing in the workplace and the general advice for food businesses.
