The Belfast City Centre Beat partnership, which was set up in 2016, will now extend until 2026.
One of many Belfast One Business Improvement District’s initiatives, City Beat has secured the additional funding support of PSNI and Belfast Chamber for a further four years.
Clare Maguire, Managing Director of Belfast One, is excited about the renewed partnership and what it can bring to the City Centre.
‘Belfast One has been the principle funder of City Beat since the inception of the BID in 2016, and our research indicates that this is one of the most valued services we offer City Centre Businesses. The extension of this initiative, and the continuation of the outstanding work of the two PSNI officers, is therefore very welcome.’
Superintendent Gerard Pollock, PSNI has welcomed this extension of the City Beat initiative.
‘Belfast City Beat is unique and focused to our City Centre. Provision covers the entire Belfast One BID area and our two officers work closely with businesses offering support and crime advice on a daily basis. PSNI are delighted to extend our partnership with Belfast One.’
Simon Hamilton of Belfast Chamber is delighted about the partnership.
‘Belfast Chamber is always keen to further improve the competitiveness and attractiveness of our City as a place to invest in and create jobs so we are delighted that we can partner up with Belfast One BID and PSNI on offering this valued service to the Belfast One area’
The City Beat team is always on hand to assist the businesses within Belfast One.
