Managing a Remote Team with AU Training
We are delighted to announce that we are offering a FREE 'Managing a Remote Team' Workshop with AKU Associate Richard Reid for Belfast One BID businesses only, on Wednesday 25th January from 9.30am - 12.30pm.
The world of work has changed dramatically over the last few decades. One of the major changes is the ability for teams to work remotely. This can be a great advantage to organisations if teams are managed effectively.
This virtual training session will give those with responsibility for remote teams practical and helpful ideas on how to manage and motivate employees.
What will I learn?
If you’re a manager or business owner whose team(s) now work from home, either due to coronavirus or for flexible working, your job just got a little (or a lot) harder. This new way of working has created a lot of distracted and potentially anxious employees, yet they still have to deliver on projects, hit targets and deadlines.
By the end of the training you will be able to:
• Identify and understand the key challenges to managing a remote team in a virtual world
• Understand the importance of trust in a virtual team
• Explore different ways to motivate team members
• Explore practical tips and techniques for engaging and managing remote teams on a day-today, week-to-week basis
• Complete a simple personal action plan
