Check out Waterstones October events schedule for their Children’s Section! Spooky Storytime is back, we have a whole heap of activities planned (did somebody say Harry Potter Book Night? 🪄) and even some special ghosts….I mean guests!

🎃05/10 11am: Enjoy a Halloween-themed story with one of our spooktacular booksellers, followed by crafts! Suitable for all ages.

🏛️12/10 3pm: Travel back in time with Roman historian and author Emma Southon to celebrate the release of Totally Chaotic History: Roman Britain Gets Rowdy! Suitable for ages 6+.
🧙17/10 5-7pm: Pack your wands and get ready to board the Hogwarts Express as we celebrate everything wizarding with Harry Potter Book Night! Suitable for all ages.
🪄19/10 11am: Magic awaits! Come along for Spooky Storytelling with fantastic local author Derek Keilty, author of the Ivy Newt series and much more! Suitable for all ages.
🦇26/10 11am: Enjoy a Halloween-themed story with one of our spooktacular booksellers, followed by crafts! Suitable for all ages.
🎃31/10 11am-5pm: Happy Halloween! To celebrate the spookiest day of the year, we’ll have a Halloween themed scavenger hunt in store, as well as other activities for little monsters to enjoy. Costumes VERY welcome! Suitable for all ages.
