Get On A Roll With Sushi! – Sunday 4 August
Discover how to prepare a wide variety of fresh and vibrant sushi dishes inspired by our local waters.
Start your afternoon session as Chef demonstrates the techniques of preparing and cooking your own authentic sushi rice. The class will then observe how to prepare a range of different sushi, nori maki, foto maki, guzkan maki, nigiri, zushi and tomaki, which each guest will get the opportunity to sample and enjoy.
Continue your experience by creating and enjoying very own cured salmon and pickled cucumber nori maki roll accompanied with Japanese miso soup.
Compliment this well-balanced course by preparing chilli chicken inside out California rolls and mackerel nigiri.
To finish off your culinary journey with us, Chef will prepare and serve a beautiful sweet and fragrant Japanese black rice pudding with mango and coconut.
This session is between 3 and 4 hours in duration. You will be greeted with a tea and coffee reception on your arrival at The School. Guests can purchase additional drinks from our fully licensed bar within The School throughout the session
