Belfast Christmas lights switch-on!
The Lord Mayor of Belfast will be joined by an array of talented local artists and performers on stage to light up the city for the festive season.
Enjoy a packed programme of entertainment for all the family. This year’s event will shine a spotlight on our local creative talent, with an all-variety line-up including:
- the All-Ireland Under 13 Bagpipe champion 2024
- the Lord Mayor’s chosen choir from Finaghy Primary School
- a performance from The MAC’s Christmas pantomime, The Adventures of Red Riding Hood
- music from Sasha Samara, an alt-pop artist and alumni of Oh Yeah Music Centre’s talent development programme
- acrobatics from Tumble Circus with a taster of their Winter Circus
- an upbeat routine from the Belvoir Players’ production, Frosted
- Christmas songs from Ballyhackamore Rock Choir
Tickets will be available from 10am on Tuesday 5 November from www.visitbelfast.com (link opens in new window) on a first-come, first-served basis and are limited to five tickets per booking.
Following feedback from last year’s event, they will also release some tickets at 7pm on Tuesday 5 November.
You will be able to book tickets for the wheelchair accessible viewing platform in person at the Visit Belfast Welcome Centre or by calling 028 9024 6609 on Tuesday 5 November from 10am. These are limited to two per booking.
Free tickets will be available on a first-come first-served basis from the Visit Belfast website from Tuesday 5 November at 10am, with more released that evening at 7pm.
