Thorntons Set To Bring Chocolate To Life In Belfast
Chocolate lovers rejoice as Thorntons announces the opening of its new city centre store in the heart of Belfast. Opening on 5th March, this latest addition is one of the retailer’s exciting new stores that have been rolling out across the UK, bringing Thorntons heritage in chocolate to life as a unique retail experience.
With over 100 years’ experience in confectionery and a wide range of famous Thorntons’ favourites including the Classic and Continental collections – this is the perfect way to treat yourself and loved ones.
For those after their favourite flavours, shoppers can create their own personalised chocolate box at the new Craftery or deliberate over the chocolate block library which is sure to be a highlight in the Arthur Square store.
If you are looking to treat someone special, unique messages can be hand iced onto a range of delicious products in store.
Shoppers can also put their feet up and set down their shopping bags in the new café. Serving afternoon tea for two, a selection of cakes and hot chocolates and featuring a chocolate fondue, it’s the perfect way to unwind and relax.
As Sarah Ingram, Retail Director of Thorntons, says:
We look forward to welcoming Belfast residents to the new store to experience the very best of Thorntons.
Beginning in 1911 Sheffield, Thorntons’ journey evolved from Joseph Thorntons ambition to make “the best sweet shop in town”. Growing in experience and knowledge around confectionery craftsmanship with the introduction of Easter Eggs in 1922, a unique toffee recipe in 1924, Thorntons continues to be a firm favourite with the new Belfast store and café.
Arthur Square, Belfast will open on Thursday 5 March with fantastic treats in store for the first 50 excited customers through the door.
