SPECIAL DELIVERY - SANTA’S POST OFFICE RETURNS TO BELFAST
It’s starting to look a lot like Christmas in Belfast City Centre as our Santa’s Post Office opens its doors at 2 Royal Avenue on 19 November until 23 December.
Little ones can join Santa’s elves, provided by c21 Theatre Company, in the magical post office, where they will enjoy free activities such as arts and crafts and design their own special letter to Santa Claus. To make sure the mail reaches the North Pole in time, all letters can be posted in Santa’s special post box.
Santa’s Post Office will compliment a range of events across Belfast One locations.
- Discover the sights, sounds and smells as Christmas is launched at Victoria Square on 12 November. Enjoy a Santa’s Grotto, live performances, reindeer feeding, a festive Christmas fayre and lots more.
- Join CastleCourt for their spectacular annual Santa’s Arrival Parade on the 19 November at 12pm. Catch sight of Santa aboard his sleigh with Mrs Claus, surrounded by princesses, superheroes, dancers with free face painting and array of fun with their Christmas characters on the mall.
- Belfast will light up for Christmas with an evening of seasonal celebrations from Belfast City Council, 6pm to 9pm on Saturday 19 November, marking the start of a festive line-up of activities and entertainment.
Looking forward to opening Santa’s Post Office at 2 Royal Avenue, Belfast One Managing Director Kathleen McBride said:
“Belfast One is looking forward to opening the doors at 2 Royal Avenue to Santa’s Post Office as we officially welcome the Christmas season to Belfast City Centre. Little ones will enjoy preparing and posting their Santa letters with a little helping hand from our friendly elves. This is a free event for families and is also a fantastic opportunity to see a range of activities from Belfast One businesses planned to encourage people to shop, visit and experience Belfast City Centre this Christmas. It really is a magical time of the year!”
