Belfast One BID plan to deliver an annual calendar of projects for 2024
Aiming to attract additional footfall, increase visitor spend & positive press coverage for Belfast City Centre.
Working with retail, hospitality and professional services we will target various demographic groups to ensure all of our projects benefit Belfast One members while also enhancing the Belfast City Centre visitor experience.
Spring/Summer City Dressing
MARCH – SEPTEMBER 2024
Enhancing the vibrancy and attractiveness of the City Centre, Belfast One will bring a pop of colour to the City Centre by installing light reflecting perspex B’ in the trees made from recycled plastics!
Spot our B’s in the trees on Donegall Place, Royal Avenue, Corn Market, William Street South and Fountain Street.
Hit the North Street Art Festival
APRIL/MAY 2024
Seedhead Arts, with support from Hennessy NI, is getting ready to make a ‘splash’ as they bring Irelands biggest street art festival back to Belfast again this year!
This ten day celebration will culminate in a ‘paint jam’, where spectators can soak up the party atmosphere and enjoy entertainment. food trucks and refreshments as they watch murals come to life 🎨
Belfast One will be commissioning a mural in the city centre as part of the festival 🥳

We’re delighted to be bringing our Belfast Summer Cinema back again this year on the 10th & 11th August 🎥🍿
Brining over 5,500 people together over the weekend, Belfast One Summer Cinema is an inclusive event for families in Northern Ireland, showcasing popular movies for young and old, this event is a must see this summer! Taking place in the grounds of City Hall and patterning with Belfast Film Festival, there will be entertainment between movies, with Cool FM also hosting the audience.

This joint BID initiative will bring a week long exciting celebration of food to the City Centre, highlighting the delicious offering of amazing food and restaurants that we have in our city!

We’ll be dressing the trees in the City Centre this October to celebrate the occasion and bring some spookiness to Belfast!
Halloween Belfast Monsters

Belfast One BID are bringing our Monster Mayhem back into the City Centre this Halloween, dressing the City Centre with Inflatable monsters and hosting spooky activities for families to take part in 👻🎃
Taking place in various locations throughout the City Centre we aim to attract families into the City Centre over the Halloween period.
Santa's Post Office
NOVEMBER & DECEMBER 2024
Bring the kids along to 2 Royal Avenue where they can write their letter to Santa with the help of our elves in our magical Santa’s Post Office this Christmas 🎅🎄
Santa’s Post Office is one of Belfast One’s most successful projects and we plan to bring this back bigger and better than ever. Attracting that important family market to the City Centre we will enhance Santa’s Post Office with a full Christmas Marketing Campaign that will drive footfall and spend into the City Centre over the festive period.
How can you get involved?
We actively encourage businesses within the Belfast One BID area to get involved in all projects and initiatives, from offering discounts and deals around event time, themed window dressing, creating bespoke offerings for events, participating or even providing giveaways, we would love to hear your ideas on how we can work with you more. The more businesses that get involved the more impact Belfast One projects will have.
Marketing & PR
Belfast One create impactful marketing and social media campaigns around all projects and events, using key media partners, we work to ensure Belfast City Centre and Belfast One members are showcased and promoted as positively as possible.
As part of the promotion and marketing we will carry out market research from each event, results are measured effectively so we can then enhance and expand on projects for the future.
