Have you ever feared the dreaded medium of oil paint. Well fear no more. In this workshop you will learn technique on how oils are used, how to build up an oil painting, mediums, pigments and the list goes on.

You will leave knowing everything you need to know to begin or develop your oil painting journey.

Saturday Morning Storytime: Greta and the Giants

Join Waterstones on Saturday 11 January when they will read “Greta and the Giants” at 11am in the Children’s section.

This inspiring picture book retells the story of Nobel Peace Prize nominee Greta Thunberg – the Swedish teenager who has led a global movement to raise awareness about the world’s climate crisis – using allegory to make this important topic accessible to young children.
