Belfast Pride Festival is a ten day long programme of events, culminating on Pride Day with the annual Pride Parade through Belfast City Centre, Party in the Square and Pride Village.

Pride is celebrated around the world near the anniversary of the Stonewall Riots in New York City in June 1969, which were the start of the modern fight for equality of rights for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered (LGBT) people. The first Pride parade in Belfast was organised in June 1991 when 100 people marched in Belfast and 2015 was our 25th Anniversary year – 50,000 people took part in the festival.
